Researchers sampled 6000 people in each of 4 villages in Europe for the carrier frequency of the autosomal recessive disease phenylketonuria. Anna, Philip, Guillaume and Cathy’s home villages were tested. For each village the researchers reported one of the following either the PKU allele frequency, or the phenotype frequency or the genotype frequency or the carrier frequency (see table). If each population is in Hardy Weinberg equilibrium choose which option best represents the number of people expected to be carriers for phenylketonuria among the 6000 people sampled in each population?

Anna's village: Allele frequency = 0.04

Philip's village: Phenotype frequency = 0.04

Guillaume's village: Genotype frequency= 0.04

Cathy's village: Carrier frequency = 0.04

The number of people expected to be carriers in Anna's village is

The number of people expected to be carriers in Philip's village is

The number of people expected to be carriers in Guillaume's village is

The number of people expected to be carriers in Cathy's village is
