In this exercise, you created master data, and you
entered transactions corresponding to business processes. In many
businesses, those persons who create master data are not allowed to
create business process transactions. Similarly, those who create
business process transactions are not allowed to create master
data. Why would organizations establish these
restrictions?
Organisation will establish these restrictions that persons who will create the business process transaction will not allowed to create master data and the master data creators are not allowed to access the business process transaction, because organisation wants to maintain the focus of various department of organisation into the particular function in order to achieve the mission and vision in a structured manner and fixing the responsibility.
Master data generally are non-operational form of data and they generally concerned with long term structural shift of the company and they are generally used to analyse the trend regarding various kinds of data related to potential customers and suppliers and they are always trying to find out data which are important in the long run for the company and they are not trying to focus on day to day transaction so these day-to-day transactions management are best done by the business transaction people.
So the organisation wants to keep it focused and do not diviate from the actual goal and in order to keep the department focused, it has assigned the responsibility of master data creators to focus on the long run rather than keeping a check on the day-to-day data
