From the perspective of a developing economy (e.g., India, China), do you think globalization is an advantage or a disadvantage for developing economies?
Globalisation refers to the integration of world economies, but for quite some time, few developed countries such as USA and UK are moving towards the anti globalisation policies.
Globalisation now moving in favor of developing countries. Developed countries has become market for developing countries, China is supreme example of this. US trade deficit with china is close to 485 Billion dollar which is massive and matter of worry. US products are unable to compete against Chinese products in US market. Trump government has began trade war to save economy of US.
But benefits of globalisation are not equally distributed along the developing countries. Few countries where political system is not stable enough, such countries. India through its expertise in IT sector.
developed countries are also gaining from trade but over the long developing countries are going to be big beneficiaries of globalisation.
