SOLUTION:-

This assessment and differentiate the set of terms about the evaluation of the measurement tools.

A. Validity, reliability, and practicality.

Validity, reliability, and practically are three different terms when we talk about evaluating measurement tools.

Validity tells the extent to which the test would be measure what it claims to be measuring.

E.g., Testing students for reading passage will not be valid if the course is written in a language alien to them.

Reliability means whether the test results would give similar results for another similar groups of people taken as samples.

E.g., If we test something and evaluate something by randomly taking 50 students in the classroom of 100, then whether the results in hand would be similar for the rest 50 students or not.

Practicality means whether the test is easy, and the respondents are comfortable taking part in it or not.

E.g., A test that is so long that the students find it hard to complete would be impractical.

B. Content, construct, and criterion

Content includes validating the content of the task, which helps in building a relationship between the test items and subject-related charges. Tests must relate to the subject matter.

E.g., If we are trying to investigate something related to music, then the tasks and test items should be related.

Construct refers to the notion, ideas, and concept, which the test much seek while preparing the tasks.

There must be a relation between the subject matter theories (updated) and the measuring component.

E.g., If we are undergoing an intelligence test, the measuring would be multiple intelligences. Criterion, on the other hand, looks for the accuracy of the process or criteria used for measuring the tests.

E.g., using a theoretical test for the driving would be incorrect criteria to measure.
