If Drew Brees can read find letters and tighter responses foster than anyone else he would still require to hire someone to do this job because of following:

1. The opportunity cost : It is the cost of losing something when features out of multiple options. It is related to this case as, if Drew Brees choose to utilise its time to answer fan mails rather than doing the scheduled work he will accumulate so much pending work to do letter and also will result in monetary losses. The monetary losses will be way more higher then having someone to do this job answering fan mails.

2. Quality response: It is possible that if he answers every male by himself he lakh quality as the repetition of answers will be there and if he hire someone for the same job they will do it as their job and quality of responses will be higher and the fans will feel much more connected to the celebrity in person.
