How did the growth of tobacco impact the land, culture, economy, politics, and social relations both in North America and throughout the Atlantic?
In NorthAmerica and SouthAmerica tobacco is the most important cash crop.Americans used it as a medicine.It spread through out the world quickly due to this American economy was started growing.They used this tobacco to prepare many things like cigars,cigarettes and chewing tobacco etc.The primary active ingredient of tobacco is alkaloid nicotine which is responsible for reducing the pain or uneasiness.It was universal through out the America that the use of tobacco in religious and public ceremonies.Exporters from America had their counerparts who acted as importers in Europe.Importers put aside the critics of tobacco as they more successful and increasing their political and social influence.Infact tobacco becomes legal currency to the some places,people used to buy their groceris and etc.Native Americans mainly grow it for medicinal use but later they use for other purposes.European colonies brought it up across the Atlantic by taking it as a habit of smoking.Financial and personal anxiety mounted stiff competition and falling prices ,for the farmers who grab opportunity in the tobacco enterprise.Tobacco considered as the best opportunity to improve the quality and yield.Tobacco interests helped colonial players and produced vocal revolutionaries behind the call of American independence.
