Why chi-sqaure Goodness of Fit is a right tailed test, explain with proper diagrams and concept behind the formula? Provide the formula to calculate expected number for “Test for Independence” and explain the rationale of getting to that formula?
Why chi-sqaure Goodness of Fit is a right tailed test, explain with proper diagrams and concept behind the formula?
P-value. The P-value is the probability of observing a sample statistic as extreme as the test statistic.
since, chi-square is always positive , getting extreme value as statisitc is P(X^2 > TS)
which means it is right-tailed
Provide the formula to calculate expected number for “Test for Independence” and explain the rationale of getting to that formula?
This is found assuming both variables are independent
