The classical music era
The classical music is art produced in the traditions of western culture. It is mainly homophonic—melody above chordal accompaniment.

Baroque music era
The main characters of baroque music is that it is a single melodic idea. It is a balance of Homophonic- melody with chordal harmony and polyphonic textures.
