Arbitration is a legal technique which is used for the resolutions of the disputes which occurs outside the courts. Whenever the parties are having dispute it is being referred to one or more persons by whose decision all of them have to agree and will be bounded to it. Engineering arbitration will help us to save much time as well as the troubles. It could come into play if people were ever put in changing the the design and installing something that is not upto the expectations. Arbitration would consist of various types :

• Institutional Arbitration
• Saturatory Abitration
• Domestic
• Foreign

These above arbitration can be categorized under two types which are voluntary and compulsory arbitration. This system has lot of advantages also due to which it is being considered very much in the Civil Engineering field. Below the advantages are being listed of engineering arbitration by which we can have an idea about why is it preferred and practiced at good rate in the engineering department.
