Covid - 19 testing involves the detection of viruses or the antibodies that are produced for the antigen of the Covid- 19 . The antibody testing detects the starting phase of the infection and able to detect only small concentration of the antibodies . The virus antigen is detected by the process that is known as reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction. The RNA of the virus is first converted into the DNA by the enzyme called reverse traanscriptase. It is then passed through the series of reactions that is used for the amplification of the DNA. The process of RT -PCR that is the reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction takes few hours to detect the SARS COV- 2 the real time PCR is the advanced technique that are used to detect the corona positive patient . Samples are obtained by rubbing the swab and extracting the sample from the Nasopharangeal secretions or through the saliva. The another test is the isothermal amplification assays. It is also used for amplification of the viral genetic material . Another test includes the ELISA test that is also used in the AIOS. ELISA is the enyme linked immuno sorbent assays. It is based on the intraction between the antigen and the antibodies. There are 2 types of ELISA test that is the direct and the indirect ELISA test. Another test is neutralisation technique is to test the antibody sample prevent the antigen of the SARS CO - 2.

Assume that there is a test for a person having antibodies for COVID-19 disease. Let A denote a test result that shows that a person has antibodies for COVID-19 disease. Let B denote that a person truly has antibodies for COVID-19. Such a person is thought to be immune to again contracting and spreading COVID-19 because that person already had the disease. Assume that the sensitivity of a test for antibodies is .938 and that the specificity of the test...

Somebody speculates that a person will test COVID 19 positive with probability 0.2. Then for finding the probability for exactly 100 patients testing positive in a sample of 400 patients, how do you do continuity correction? In the above question, what is the required probability using normal approximation to binomial? What is the probability that at least 70 patients test COVID 19 positive?

Answer the question "What is the probability that someone you know will die from COVID-19 this year?" and give your opinion. Hint: You take for example the region (Tripoli, Beyrouth...) where you live in lebanon , the number of confirmed cases in this region and the population. N represents the total number of cases infected in the region, and p is the probability of death in Lebanon. You calculate the P(X=1). Please answer me this question again completely.
