Use this passage to answer the following questions: Climate is gradually changing because of Human activity. Biologists are concerned about the impact of this change on the distribution of biomes across the globe as the change occurs.

b) Briefly explain what a biome is: (1 or 2 sentences)

c) Explain why changing climate will end up changing biome distribution (explain the relationship between climate and biome distribution)

Climate is condition of region considering temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, wind ,rainfall, sunshine, cloudiness etc in specific area for long time.

Climate is long term average of whether.

Ex. Tropical climate ,dry climate etc.

b. Biomes

Naturally occurring community of flora ( plants) & fauna (animals) have common characteristics in area they exists known as biomes.

These possese certain type of climate & living things.

Eg. Tundra , grassland

C. Climatic factor influence effecctlvely to ecosystem.

For example, Servivalance is most important factor for living being all are struggle to servive . If habitat get warmer ,this  can cause species to migrate to higher latitudes or higher elevations.

Climate determines growth of plant and animal too.

Also it can determine number & variety of plant and animals too.

Ex. In turtle species they follows the pattern that eggs in extremely high or low temperatures become male and eggs in medium temperatures become female.
