The organization which I choose is an automobile manufacturing company. A corporate strategy is a plan on which the goals and objectives of the business depend and a direction is set to achieve all the goals. The operations strategy deals with planning done for the allocation of the resources so as to help in the production.it is used basically for increasing productivity and minimizing the costs. An organization sets a corporate strategy for the long run while the operations strategy deals with the achievement of satisfaction of the customers and making the bottom line more productive. Operations strategy is a part of the corporate strategy of the organization.

In an automobile sector technology plays a very important role as all the machines and the equipment have to be updated from time to time so that it can satisfy the needs of the clients. Outdated technology in this sector will lead to lower sales and thus will result in losses. High-end technology is always welcomed in this sector.

A process (batch) manufacturing is used for manufacturing the goods as a batch is manufactured on the basis of the order received by the customers. Once a batch is finished then only the new batch is started. The manufacturing is also done according to the demand in the market by various agencies.

The performance measures help in getting knowledge of the functioning of the processes, systems, and programs. It is very important to measure performance in an automobile company as it is a costly product and without the performance measurement, the organization can bear losses. Necessary changes can be made in the process and systems which could help in increasing the production and eliminating any kind of flaw in the manufacturing process.

Lean is a process which helps in eliminating waste and better utilization of the available resources to gain the satisfaction of the customers. Agile help in speeding up the efficiency towards the organizational responses which are used to make the decisions and applying it effectively. The changes in the market needs to be addresses by the organization to increase its efficiency. Both these are important for the company in increasing its productivity as a business has to take the changes made in the market and at the same time they have to reduce the stage so that productivity could be increased and profitability could be maximized.
