One activity historically undertaken by local government tourism organizations is that of marketing. In established and popular destinations, should spending on marketing and promotion now be left in the hands of the private sector, which are the businesses that gain from tourism spend. Discuss
Simple discussion, about 200-400 words
I agree with that the established and popular destinations should be left in the hand of the private sector but in a controlled manner and under regulations by the government.
Increase in the tourism and travel industry is causing degradation and destruction of most of the precious established and popular destination. There is an urgent need to preserve natural and historical destinations before its too late.
Privatization, if implemented properly, can protect these popular and established tourist places from the destruction and mayhem. The main benefit of the privation would be that it would improve the quality fo travel experience and also maintain the quality and beauty of the popular tourist places because it is an asset to them.
Traditionally popular tourist places such as national parks, sanctuaries, historical monuments, etc are managed by the public agencies but in modern times they are able to preserve, protect, and market these popular travel destinations. That is why privatization would not only help to prevent destruction, and deterioration but also help manage, promote, and market these to the larger population.
In brief, there is an urgent need to protect popular travel destinations from destruction and determination because public agencies are not able to do so. That is why privatization is the best option to manage, protect, and utilize the popular destination in the most optimum way. It is a win-win situation for both private companies and the tourist places and government.
