The main characteristic of a parliamentary form of government is the cabinet. The union or federal electrons for the representation in parliament are conducted the party which gets majority forms the government and nominate its council of ministers with headed by a leader called Prime Minister. The council of ministers have collective responsibility towards the parliament.

Another most important characteristics of the parliamentary form of government is that the Council of minister can be in power until they enjoys confidence of legislatures. Thus the entire Council of ministers i.e. executive are collectively responsibile to the legislature. Thus there is a check and balace and parliament can ask or question the council of Minister. Apart from this the parliament is wlected for a fixed period of time and after the expiry of that period parliament get dissolved. The parliament also dissolved when the council of minister losses confidence of the house. When a parliament dissolves the government also dissolves. The another central characteristics of the parliamentary governments is that there must be coordination of team spirit. For example any bill introduced by the minister should be supported by entire council. As famously said for this that all the minsters should sail the same boat . It must be noted that both executive and legislature are complementary to each other and share their powers.

The parliament  ensures governments responsibility towards the people. In this way both are dependent on each other. A bill to make laws is propsed or introduced by the concenrd minister and at the se time through parliamentary proceedings minsters performance can be questioned by the parliament .
