Chest tube
It is a type of drainage system which is sterile, disposable system that includes a compartment system that has a one-way valve, with one or multiple chambers, to remove air or fluid and prevent return of the air or fluid back into the patient .
Pneumothorax
It is also known as a collapsed lung.
It occurs when air leakage occur in the space between the lungs and chest wall. A blunt or penetrating chest injury, some medical procedures or lung disease can result in pneumothorax.
