one dose of drug = 500mg
howmany dose( X) in 50,000 mg ?
1 dose =500
X dose = 50000
500/1=50000/X
X=50000 DIVIDED BY 500
X=50000/500 = 100
Answer is 50,000mg contains 100dose.
Answer of question 3:-
a solution contain ingredient 0.50mg/mL
howmany ingredients( X ) in 120mL ?
0.50MG =1 Ml
X MG =120mL
X = 120 x 0.50
X = 60 MG
Answer is 60 mg of ingredients in 120 mL of solution .
Answer of question 4:-
avaialble dose of cemetidine in milligram = 300
howmany grams( X ) in 300 milligrams ?
1gram =1000milligrams
X grams = 300 milligrams
X x 1000 = 1 x 300
1000X = 300
X = 300 DIVIDED BY 1000
X = 0 .3 GRAMS
Answer is 300mg cemetidine equal to
0.3g
Answer of question 5:-
1/2 g phenobarbital tablet = howmany ( X ) mg
1/2g = 0.5g
1g =1000mg
0.5g = X mg
X x 1 = 1000 x 0.5
X = 500
Answe is 1/2 g phenobital equal to 500mg
Answer of question 6:-

= 9.615 ML
Answer is 9.615 ml needed for preparation of medication
Answer of question 9:-
doctor's order 1gm medicine every 8 hours for 1 week
available dose 250mg
1g = 1000 mg
* number of capsule in one dose = 1000/250= 4 capsule
* number of capsule per day =4 x 3 ( every 8 hours) = 12 capsule
* total number of capsule for 1 week (7days)= 7 x 12 = 84 capsule
Answer of 10 :-
1 pound =0.453 kg
30 pound = 0.453 x 30 =13.59
13.59kg
1kg = 60 to 75 mg dose
FIND THE MEAN VALUE OF 60 -75 MG
(60+75) /2 = 135/2 = 67.5 MG
1KG BODY WEIGHT NEEDS 67.5 MG OF DOSE OF MEDICATION
13.59kg = X (DOSE OF MEDICATION )
X = 13.59 x 67.5
=917.32 MG
13.59 KG BODY WT NEEDS 917.32 MG OF DOSE OF MEDICATION
