Consider the following table.

So, here “ASBR” is the numbers of live birth per 1000 women in a specific age group for specific geographic area and for a specific point in time, => ASBR is given by.

=> ASBR = [(Number of live births to women specified age group)*1000]/(Numbers of women in same age group). Now, the ASBR for all the interval are given in the above table.

Now, the TFR” is given by.

=> TFR = (sum of ASFR/1000)*(age intervals of women) = (297.5137/1000)*8 = 2.38.

Now, the “TFR per women” is given by, “total births/total female population”.

=> TFR per women = 3900/105400 = 0.037.
