In 1963, the Equal Pay Act was enforced with a view of generating a system of equal pay for equal work which has gradually changed the American culture and social structure. If the men and women are given similar allowances and benefits they would be encouraged to work effectively. This will create a healthy work environment where the workers do not feel any insecurity. This helps the individuals to flourish well with the developing work culture. An impartial culture will promote justice. The reduced male domination and upliftment of women will be instrumental in improving the overall social culture.
