sinoatrial (SA) node is a describes as a pacemaker.

electrical impulses from the heart muscle cause our heart to beat( contraction) .
this electrical impulses begins in the SA node.
SA node located at the top of the heart's of upper right chamber ( right atrium).
SA node sometimes called the heart's natural pacemaker.
sometimes SA node doesn't work properly causing the heart to beat too fast ,too slow ,or irregular. in other cases ,the heart's electrical pathways are blocked ,which can also causes irregular heart rhythms.

process: electrical impulses released from SA node ,it causes atria to be contract . signals than passes to atrioventricular (AV )node . AV node checks the signals and send it through the muscle fibers of the ventricles and causing them contract.

artificial pacemakers like : artificial cardiac pacemaker :it is a medical device that generates the electrical impulses delivered by electrodes to cause the heart muscle chambers to contract and pump blood to the body parts.
