1. Entry of dust mites can be prevented by using allergen proof bed covering on mattress and pillows.

3. Maintaining the relative humidity in house between 30-50% by using air conditioner or dehumidifier.
4. Use a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter to remove all the allergens.
5. Using only stuffed toys which can be washed and keeping those toys off the bed.
6. Use of a damp or an oiled towel or mop for frequent dusting may minimize and prevent accumulation of dust.
