There are many reasons that microorganism infection results in disease. Define the term disease and describe the pathogenesis of an infectious disease that we learned whose symptoms are caused primarily by the immune response.
Define Diseases
A disorder of structure or function in a human animal, or plant especially one that produces specific symptoms or that affects a specific location and is not simply a direct result of physical injury.
the pathogenesis of a disease is the biological mechanism that leads to diseased state.the term can also describe the origin and development of the disease and whether it is acute ,chronic,or recurrent.
Pathogenesis encompasses the entire host pathogen interaction and requires an understanding of the pathogen and pathogen associated factors that contribute to the disease process as well as host responses that can be protective circumvented or contribute to disease pathology.
Types of pathogensis include microbial.infection, inflammation, malignancy and tissue breakdown.for example bacterial pathogenesis is the mechanism by which bacteria cause infectious illness.
For example, bacterial pathogenesis is the mechanism by which bacteria cause infectious illness.most diseases are caused by multiple process for example certain cancer arise from dysfunction of the immune system ( skin tumors and lymphoma after a renal transplant which requires immunosuppression.
Treatment
A variety of microorganisms can cause disease.pathogenic. organisms are five main types viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa
Pathogenic microbes challenge the immune system in many ways .viruses Mame us sick by killing cells or disrupting cell functioning our bodies often respond with fever that ( inactivate many vires) with the secretion of a chemical called interferon ( which blocks virus from reproducing.or marshaling the immune systems antibodies and other cells to target the invader. Many bacteria make us sick in the same wya that curses do but they crowd out just tissues and distrupt normal function.sometimes they kill cell and tissue outright.sometimes that make toxins that can paralyze destroy cells metabolic meachinery of participate a massive immune reaction that is isteld toxic.
Disease can arise from the pathogenesis that severe toxins from dysregulation of the immune system or simy from aging.far more commonly pathogenesis occures as a consequences of complex interactioms between an infection pathogen and the immune system.
