We take an initial test, we ask them to watch the video and when they finish we take another test. We now have two observations from each student. we have data of scores before watching the video and after watching the video

Y = score after watching video

Y - X = difference > 0 ( should be if video works )

H0 : there is no change in score

Thus we reject H0

Hence the difference is positive implies that , scores before watching the video and after watching the video are significatly changed and score after watching video is more than before.
