steps needed to perform CPR with an AED are,
1) Call in emergency number( Will be different in different countries)
2) Unlock the case and then pull out the lid and after that turn on the device.
3) Wear the included gloves
4) Take the scissors and cut the sufferer's shirt open.
5) Take the included razor and shave the region where the pads will be applied,if required
6) Take a towel to dry the sufferer's chest in case if they are wet.
7) Place the pads as seen in the photos printed on them.One pad must be placed on the upper chest and the other must be on the opposite abdominal.
8) Then follow the prompts provided by the AED.
9) When the shock is advised,ensure that nobody is touching the sufferer,prior to pressing the flashing shock key.
10) If prompted to start the CPR,take the cycle of 30 compressions and 2 rescue breaths and after completing 5 cycles permit the AED to check the rhythm again.Continue taking CPR till the help come or until the AED declare rhythm restored.
