Program Evaluation : A systematic method of collecting, analysing and using information to answer questions of programs about their effectiveness and efficiency called program evaluation.

In both sectors private or public go for program evaluation in order to understand or to know where the stakeholders are funding are producing intended effect.

Quantitative & qualitative method of social research are the method for program evaluation.

In educational system to improve some specified aspect there are certain activities undertaken to judge the worth or utility of a program.

How validity is important in program evaluation :

To check whether the program has become effective or not program evaluation occurs which is a decision making process.in order to get the right program should be carried out in accordance with scientific standards. & This can be done through the use of valid & reliable measurements instruments.

Validity of a measurement tool or instrument should be to the extent to which it is intended to measure.the whole process should be done in appropriate way or with an appropriate tool with valid workings. Then only objective of program evaluation can be attained.

Validity plays a crucial role in program evaluation as the process in which we are going should have valid tools to donw with after then only will receive the outcome in order to process had started.
