University students spend lots of money on fast food. You are asked to forecast how much money those students spend on fast food each week. What is/are the dependent variable which you should consider in your analysis? What are the independent variables?
According to me, university students spend about $50-60 per week on fast food. Many surveys conducted regarding the same also reveal almost the same results.
Dependent Variables:
1. The pocket money available with the university students.
2. The number of days students attend university.
3. The number of hours spent by students at University.
4. The variety of food available at University.
5. The price of food available at University.
Independent Variables:
1. The quality of food at University.
2. Number of hours canteen is open at University.
3. Number of lectures per week for students at University.
4. The management of canteen whether good or not.
5. The number of workers at college canteen.
