Drawing inferences from the data is the process by which the inferences for a population are made, which is based on certain statistics. These are calculated from the sample of data which is drawn from these population.

The ability to draw inferences from the data is taking the information which is already known, and adding the information to the new knowledge from reliable data. It also includes developing a conclusion by integrating both of them. In order to have a greater comprehension of the text, the readers should make inferences by reading between the lines.

Drawing conclusions from the data is the information which is inferred or implied. The information is not at all clear ever. The writers tell more than they say directly.
