Recapping our comparison of sampling distributions for phat, when we move from n=10 to n=50, (consider your histograms and summary statistics)
A. The center becomes larger, but the spread remains the same.
B. The center and spread both become smaller.
C. The center remains the same, but the spread becomes smaller.
D. The center remains the same and the spread becomes larger.
Center doesn't depend on sample size so center will remain the same. On the other hand, spread of proportion sampling distribution is inversely proportion to square root of sample size, so spread will decrease as we increase n.
Option C is correct.
