Exotoxicology is the study of effects of a toxin on organisms in a community or an ecosystem or in biosphere level. The toxins or pollutants can cause adverse and poisonous effects on susceptible organisms. Community may likely to be diminished or adopted to it eventually or it may devolop some adaptations to increase its tolarence. At evolutionary scale natural section selects those with tolarence.the community tolarance test measures the community tolarence as a whole. Community tolerance test mesures the difference between the level of tolerance of a representative species which previously exposed to the toxin compared to the refferance species that wasn't exposed. This helps to understand the community tolarence level to toxin or a pollutant to holistic stand point. Here the unexposed refferance species helps to nullify the other ecological limiting factors driving at times.
