There is a thin line between being proud and ethnocentric of our own provenance, and we must not compare one for the other. Being proud of our own cultural legacy, while acknowledging that other cultures have theirs, means cherishing and appreciating our heritage. In the other hand , based on one's own ethnic perspective, ethnocentrism is the amount of racism, cultural ignorance, and over-generalization. Any of us will demonstrate or experience dissatisfaction with another ethnic group 's opinion at some stage and it comes instinctively to consider that our own approach is the only valid way. Nevertheless, it is very important to keep our ethnocentricity in check, and strive to realise that this planet has something fantastic to give per culture. When it comes to knowing their norms and beliefs, it may be important to bear in mind that individuals have diverse cultural traditions, histories, and most certainly another lifestyle.
They are all different, there are no positive or evil cultures, and we have to consider them as they are. In addition, the earlier we agree that people don't have to think, behave, or live the way we think is right, the better chances we have of experiencing the foreign country, travel, job experience, or some other intercultural contact circumstances. We all benefit from our own mistakes and ultimately become a smarter and kinder human.
