compare the application of ethyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide on the control of bacteria growth
Answer = Ethyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide both are the types of disinfectant and antiseptic agent.
* Ethyl alcohol work on rapidly denaturing proteins , which inhibit cell metobolism and lysis the cell membrane and inhibit the growth of bacteria.
- In ethyl alcohol 70 % alcohol aqueous solution used.
- The ethyl alcohol is the most common used alcohol for disinfectant.
- Alcohol are voletile in nature so these are easily dry and its cause dehydration of skin and easily skin dry.
- Alcohol maniy use for making hand senitizer which preevent cell membrane of bacteria by rubbing and its also help in for prevention of cross transmission of infection and inhibit growth of bacteria.
* Hydrogen peroxide = Hydrogen peroxide is a mild disinfectant and use in minor cuts and burns and also use for cleaning of wound.
- 3 % Hydrogen peroxide ( H2O2 ) use in prevention of growth of bacteria its not use in deep wound.
- Some time hydrogen peroxide cause allergy and rashes.
- Its also help in removal of dead tissue.
- Hydrogen peroxide also work as a bacteriostatics agent, its inhibit reproduction of bacteria.
