Need of Health Information Management for Health care Organisations:  Introduction: Health Information Management is now very crucial for health care providing organisations or healthcare settings, this management is fulfilled by the specialised skills personal called " Registered Health Information technician or Healthcare Information Managers" by " American Health Information Management Association" ( AHIMA).

HIM requires the specialised skills in various diciplins like Science, Business,Management,Law and computer applications, ultimately HIM archives organisation goals.

Role of HIM: The main role is ensure that health information systems in a healthcare provider organisation meet legal,medical and ethical standards.

Purpose of HIM : collect and evaluate the data information of clients or patients,

- maintain the medical records accurately,complete and timely,
