Pneumonia is a serious infection caused to lungs. If proper treatment is not given, turn into fatal disorder. The Novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19), the virus has been spread to lungs, causes pneumonia. This deadly virus can make headway through the respiratory tract into the lungs. After entering lungs, the virus causes, severe inflammation and the alveoli, or the air sacs. The virus can damage the cells and tissue that are associated with the alveoli, or the air sacs. This progression turns into lowering the limit of ability to take enough oxygen and to expel enough carbon dioxide. The continuous oxygen deprivation leads the white blood cells to release inflammatory markers like cytokines and other chemokines to kill virus infected cells, thus leaving behind dead cells (Pus) and fluid into lungs. These dead cells and fluid get thickened or clog into the lung making difficulty to breathe and supply of oxygen to other organs resulting in multiple organ failure to kill the infected person quickly.
