What does Foot mean when she claims that the word good means the same thing when applied to features of humans as when applied to features of plants?
According to Phillipa Foot the term good is similiar to pride. She said you dont feel pride just about anything. It has to be morally, socially acceptable to be felt proud about. If it is something that no one will be happy to hear then it is not pride worthy and thus is not good. For instance: you can never feel proud about killing someone and thus it is not good, but if you save someone from drowning then you will feel proud about it and thus it is good.
