JC looks at the prescription for Flexeril and States I'm glad you didn't give me that Valium. they gave me Valium last time and that stuff knocked me out how would you respond to JC

Flexiril and valium are used to treat muscle spasams. Flexiril is used to relief from acute pain resulting from muscle spasm of skeletal muscular conditions.

Valium is also used to treat anxiety, seizures, and symptoms of alcohol withdrawal.

Flexeril and Valium belong to different drug classes. Flexeril is a muscle relaxant and Valium is a benzodiazepine.even though they have similar side effect also like dry mouth, blurred vision, dounle vision, dizziness, fatigue, tiredness, nausea, constipation and muscle weakness.

Both Flexeril and may interact with alcohol and other drugs that make you drowsy (narcotics, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, or medicines for anxiety or seizures).sudden stoppage of valium may cause withdrawal symptoms.

Every drugs have itsown sideeffect and use. The selection of the drugs depends on conconditions. Here valium can use both as muscle relaxant as well as anxiety seizures, etc. Now they prescribed flexiril means it may to releive acute pain. So we can't say flexiril is better than valium, it depends on your conditions.
