Corporate social responsibility has gained traction in the business community. Defend or refute the importance of CSR in the HUS profession. The phrase “going beyond what’s expected” has been utilized to describe CSR. What does it mean for organizations seeking to integrate CSR?
In my opinion, CSR is important in any profession, be it HUS or any other. All the organizations need to give something back to the society from their earnings. It is not only the responsibility of organization, but also of it's employees to be aware of CER activities and be an active part of them. This way they can contribute towards betterment of society and will also inculcate helping nature and attitude in themselves.
"Going beyond what's expected" simply means that organizations and employees must give something extra to the society than what is expected out of them. They should help others out of their love and sympathy rather than just for the sake of it. Organizations must not take CSR initiatives as a means to follow rules or regulations but also understand their responsibility towards others and do these initiatives out of love and humanity.
