In 500 words. Analyze a minimum of three aspects of Alzheimer’s you find most interesting. How does the Alzheimer’s affect modern world health? What are the implications of this disease to caregivers? Do you think there are ways to avoid getting Alzheimer’s? Do you think it is worth spending a large amount of time and money to seek out the cause of Alzheimer’s? Why or why not?
• I found these following things interesting about Alzheimer's disease.
1) growth bar--- the incidence of Alzheimer's disease is growing day by day special in America and the US States. The range of incidence of the disease is increasing rapidly. And a study proves that in 3 seconds an Alzheimer's case is diagnosed worldwide.
2) economic involvement---- though Alzheimer's disease can never be cured fully, it can only be treated to slow down its progression. With this restriction too, the US spends 818 billion dollars on this disease.
3) mortality rate----the mortality rate of Alzheimer's is quite high. Currently, it is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States.
• the definition of health in modern days is an equal balance of physical, mental and social well-being of an individual. And as far as if we, are talking about Alzheimer's disease it not only affects the client's physical, social, and mental well-being but also influences adas conditions too. We can't say that and Alzheimer's is only an individual because the surrounding it people will also get affected either physically or mentally or socially. This is how is affecting other people's one not being diagnosed with the same disease but is suffering from the disease.
• As I mentioned in the above paragraph that was not only a fact to an individual who is being that lost but also to the people who were surrounded by the client. The implication of Alzheimer's disease to a caregiver can be different. It depends on the situation or the condition of the client. The implication can range from bad to worse. In this disease, a caregiver has to be very attentive all the time and should be with the client maximum of the time. A caregiver h o follow a very restricted lifestyle for the good of the client. All this can lead to a mental and emotional breakdown or sometimes physical of the caregiver. And to avoid this the caregiver should have a balance in life to avoid such complications.
• there can be many ways to avoid Alzheimer's like having a healthy diet living a balanced lifestyle and doing regular exercise. If all these three things can be kept in mind then the outcome can be fruitful. Nowadays doing regular exercise is counted as a very good asset not only as prevention but as a treatment too if started early in the days.
• spending money will lead to something beneficial. But the most important step that should be taken towards this disease is creating awareness about its cause in society. Intraday this disease can not be cute can only be treated. However, prevention is the best option for this.
