a) Surrogacy : It is a legalaggre method of assisted reproduction in which surrogate mother agrees to become pregnant , carries in her womb and give birth to a baby for another person (biological parents of the baby).
In this method ovum(egg) from biological mother is fertilized with the sperm from biological father or donor in the test-tube this is called in vitro fertilization. The fertilized egg or embryo is transferred to a surrogate mother for its development into full term baby.
b) Adolescent reproductive health and right : appropriate sexual education is necessary to create awareness to prevent , early diagnose and treat sexually transmitted diseases. Counseling plays important role in reproductive health and right. we can empower them , aware them regarding their rights to protect them from illegal practices like early marriage ,early pregnancy , sexual assault etc. encourage them to use effective contraception to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
c) Infertility : It is a condition in which there is inability to conceive within 12 months after intercourse. infertility occurs may be because of hormonal disturbnces in both males and females , or it can be genetic . In females cause of infertility could be, fail to ovulate like in polycystic ovarian syndrome and STDs can be direct cause of infertility. In males it can be due to blockage of epididymis that results in low sperm count. There are various methods to resolve problems related to infertility.
d) sexually transmitted infections (STIs): An infection which is transmitted through sexual contact , caused by bacteria, viruses or parasites.
for example : HPV - human papilloma virus causes genital warts ,genital herpes - genital pain and sores and chlamydia are STIs .
