What property effect to the sound wave?

What property effect to the sound wave?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Two properties that mostly effects sound wave are :

1. Frequency :

A high frequency wave is one where there are a lot of vibrations per second, and a low frequency wave is one where there are few vibrations per second.

A higher frequency sound will have high pitch or higher note, whereas a lower frequency sound will have low pitch or lower note.

2.

Amplitude:

Amplitude is how tall the wave is.

Higher amplitude means higher intensity which will imply that sound wave is travelling with higher energy.
