Glyburide2.5 mg tablet one and a half tablet to be taken at morning and one at night for 90 days.

Calculate the first dose

Desired dose/ dose in hand x quantity = dose to be given

The desired dose is taken as 'x'

'X'mg/ 2.5mg x 1 nos = 1.5 nos

X =2.5 x 1.5 = 3.75 mg

The first dose is 3.75 mg

Total days =90 days

Number of tablets needed in the morning is

90x 1/2 = 45 nos
