Expert Solution

The three brands of the identical product which have different branding strategies are Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and Circle K. Starbuck is a well-known brand but it has relatively costlier products. The cups of the company have the name of the customers and the customers are called by name. The company also offers a number of side products such as cake and pastries to accompany the coffee.

In case of Dunkin Donuts, a customer can order donuts and coffee. Circle K is mainly involved in making coffee at convenience stores with the different range of other products which can be bought by the customers. All these three companies sell coffee along with the different products and pastries or snacks.

The main difference in their positioning is the target market. Part of the target market is how much someone would spend on a cup of coffee and the convenience for them. There can be a number of customers who visit Starbucks but still don’t like coffee as the price seems to be slightly on the upper side. On the other hand, Dunkin Donuts mainly targets the customers who want relatively cheaper products, offer a wide range of donuts with coffee.
