Most African Governments have neglected planning for Rural Travel and Transport (RTT) in their Policies. What arguments would you use to convince them to incorporate RTT in their National Transport Policies and Plans?

Transportaion in itself plays a very important role for the country's economy and helps in facilitating the economy. It basically helps in connecting the country and the people withing. Since everything is not available at one single place so transportation helps in providing it to different places. Since most of the African countries are not developed and major resources are located in the rural areas thus transportation system needs to be developed.

Rural Travel and Transport will not only help in connecting the country but also help the rural people as most of the people living in the rural areas do not own any vehicle and thus travel on foot. So transport system will help in raising their standard of living. SInce rural areas is cosidered to be the growth engine of the country as it supplies with agriculture food so the logistics system must be developed for the betterment of the country.

Developmet of RTT will not only help in economical growth but also the social growth of people.
