Whether or NOT it is appropriate, answer the following concerning the test of the mean.

What is the value of the appropriate test statistic for the statistical test of the mean? Note: Input Answer you calculate to 3 Decimal Places.

DATA BELOW:

The Population Mean for daily high temperatures in Hawaii for the month of January is 80 degrees; however, the Population Standard Deviation is Unknown. A researcher tests whether mean January temperatures in Hawaii have been significantly higher over the last 9 years. The researcher calculates the mean temperature for the month of January for the years 2012 through 2020. The Sample Mean temperature for this 9-year period (sample) is 87 degrees. The researcher wants to maximize the Power of the Test. The data are presented below.
