There are basically four types of supervisory skills. They are
1. Technical Skills
It is also called as operational skills. It carries specialised skills to do the things. It carries ecpartise knowledge about techniques and procedures. It is the capability to perform specialised jobs.
2. Decision making skills
It is basically the ability to analysis information and making a good decision.
3. Human relation skills
It is all about managing people and working with the people. It includes communication skill.
4. Conceptual Skills
It is the ability to see the organization as a whole. It is all about understaning the organization, understanding the various functions of the organization and creating relationship resources and organization.
All are very important functions. But human relation skills are most important skill. It is the ability to work with people. It helps the manager to lead, motivate and develop team spirit. Human relation skills are required by all the levels of management.
