Malthus wrote: ‘[I]t is not to be supposed that the physical laws to which [mankind] is subjected should be essentially different from those which are observed to prevail in other parts of the animated nature.’

Do you agree? Explain your reasoning.

Expert Solution

Yes i do agree with this.

Our laws should be in sync with the natural laws.

An ideal , dream world would be that when each and every one of us would become so wise that even the state will perish away. Then we will be subjected to only the natural laws like 'Karma'.

At this stage man will know that if he does something wrong, it will comeback to him.

Even Adam and Eve knew that they had committed a mistake by consuming the forbidden fruit and now they will have to pay the price. ..

So till that egalitarian stage let us but be arbitrary and authoritarian, but every state should try to keep its laws in sync with nature.

When nature has given us the scientific laws like the Newton's law, then whY not take inspiration from nature in making all the laws...

Nature teaches us everything from being Humble like the tree to survival and competition among the wild animals...

Its just that we have always turned a blind eye towards our Mother nature, our creator, preserver and destroyer.
