Alex was a bank teller at Wells Fargo Bank. One of his long time customers is Bill. Bill is the manger of Buffalo Wild Wings. Everyday is comes in noon to do a deposit, he leaves the deposit and Alex emails the receipt. This particular day Bill was in a hurry and missed indorsing two of the checks. Using IRAC, determine whether Alex can accept the deposit from Bill.

Issue : The issue here is whether Alex a bank teller at Wells Fargo Bank can accept deposit of checks which is not endorsed from Bill, a manager of Buffalo Wild Wings.

Rules : The common rules with respect to accepting and depositing checks is that checks must be endorsed before depositing in account. Wells Fargo Bank have rules for endorsement, they can endorse the checks if it is for deposit in account. Even if customer fails to endorse, it can be endorse by them. Wells Fargo Bank is responsible for exercising ordinary care while accepting deposit. If customer does not endorse checks that is to be deposited in their own account, Bank my endorse the same.
