Nurse Fatma recently saw that the patient, who was having a difficult time due to the death of her mother and brother, had sent her a friend request from Facebook after her discharge. Nurse Fatma approved the friendship request and gave her friend support in the grieving process she was experiencing due to her loss. is this right or wrong? why , why not?

reduced self esteem and dimished appetite

get anger towards those who rejects them

feeling guilty

begin to harm herself

if nurse fathima approach her again for giving care to her, the patient  may turn anger towards her and avoids her

due to loss of her mother and her brother

enter into stages of sadness

depend on others for love and affection

nurse fathima accepts the face book friend

pateint begin to show love and  happiness

patient get support from nurse. nurse support and give positive reinforcement to her

thereby she tells all her problems to the nurse and get confidence

get solutions from nurse

she should be under observation for 6 months or one year after loss of her mother and her brother.

this is crucial period. neither one should avoid her. other wise she enters into moderate depression or severe depression
