This test compare variance of the population to check whether sample are drawn from a normally distributed population with a specified variance or not. The chi square test as a goodness of fit judges whether a theoretical distribution fits the observed data. it used for testing relationships between categorical variables. The null hypothesis of the Chi-Square test is that no relationship exists on the categorical variables in the population; they are independent.
