The phase of China changed a lot after 1949 with the emergence of the Repuic part of China on September 21, 1949. The Mao's social movements in China got to encourage the people a lot in various sectors like land reforms, great leap forward on the whole. The government got to carry out various Mass executions like landowners, they also instituted collectivisation etc. The five year plans mostly focussed on the problems of the people where the production mostly transferred from private to public entities on the whole. The war with Korea and also cold war between Russia enabled the government to increase it's military strength on the whole. As far as the foreign policies, the US relations with China became weak and also this trend continued with other countries like US. The assassination of President Kennedy of US further damaged the relations on the whole. Even there are many polemics that engaged with the Soviet Union as well all in all.
