Research – Challenges
Research becomes difficult because the concept or the idea deals
with new objectives aiming new results. Finding the topic or what
to research, to select the method which is most suitable, avoiding
errors, time constraints, reliance of the collected data,
limitations of individual research can all be considered as the
basic difficulties in doing research. The importance of the
selected topic is to be ensured by the researcher. Collecting
various data, making proper study about the field, getting
necessary information from the data collected stand as the
important and difficult part of the research. Accepting methodology
and the ability to work that out more accurately is an important
difficulty in the field. Confidence of the researcher, the
cooperation of public and different sources of data is all
important.
There are several methods to be opted to complete research. That
includes surveys, observation, interviews, experiments, mixed
methods etc. The methods to be adopted will be depending upon the
nature of the research. Not all research can be done by the
surveys, interviews etc. Scientific research should consider the
method of experiment. A study or research about the culture of the
society or the people can be analyzed through the method of
interview or survey. Thus given the different methods, the method
opted for a research is depended on the nature, scope and the type
of data available for the same.
