Biostatistics
It is defined as the numerical data involving variability and treatment of such data in the field of health sciences, nursing, community health , medicine, pharmacy, and physiotherapy etc.
Epidemiology
It is the study of the distribution and determinants of health related states or events in specified population and the application of this study to the control of health problems.
These two are very important in the representation and interpretation of a public health issue , in order to get a solution and control over that issue .
Biostatistics helps to present the fact in a definite form . It allows the comparisions of normal and abnormal in context of various aspects related to health and illness. Through planning, analysis , it establishes accuracy of procedures in researches..
Epidemiology help to detect the rise and fall of disease in the population.planning, evaluation allows community diagnosis also individual risks.this plays an important role in screening and surveillance and searching for causes and risk factors.
In totaly biostatistics and epidemiology is the two important pillars of public health. Government and health authorities uses this for their new experiments and researches inorder to communicate with the public and also assure the base line data . Truly it then helps in the development and maturity of nations health .
